31 He told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field. 32 Though it is the smallest of all seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds come and perch in its branches.”

Matthew 17: 20 He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

Mustard Seed Multisensory Prayer idea: using cress or mustard seeds

• Hold seed in hand, think about how small & insignificant it is.

• Think about huge changes that happen to the seed, how big the tree/plant will be (Google for image if useful)

• Can add movement of curling up into a ball, then stretching tall.

• Pray that God would use you, to increase your faith as you grow. Ask God to speak to you, stay silent & listen for his voice.
